Number one is: Say whatever the hell you want. Women love men that are expressive, and don’t hold anything back. Ever see a musician perform and get so into the song that he’s in a state of rapture? You see women in the audience entranced, and you just know that he’s going to get laid after the show. He’s expressive, and doesn’t hold anything back. He puts himself out there, which means he’s vulnerable and open to criticism. What kind of guy would do that? Only one with a stomach of iron, and balls of steel. An extremely sexy man.

The second thing that you need to do to pick up women is: Stand by what you said. First of all, let me clarify by saying that I don’t mean you should vehemently defend your position if a woman disagrees with you. Now, I’m not talking about standing by it by seriously arguing. I’m just saying that when you say something, you should own it. Say what you mean, and then mean what you say. When you say something, you have to follow through with it, back it up. If someone (for example, a pretty girl) says she doesn’t agree with what you say, don’t feel like you have to retract it. Just stay with it.

You can probably imagine that this might get you into some pretty awkward situations. Like when you let slip that you’re still a fan of Gary Glitter’s music even after the child porn charges. It’s okay to feel the pressure. Stay with it. Don’t succumb. Enjoy the tension.

Now, when a lot of guys hear an idea like this, they’re likely to say weird things deliberately in order to stand out. Not really what this is about, though it’s okay to do that as an exercise, or for your own amusement. It’s just not the final goal. The final goal is to be able to express yourself completely, and say whatever is on your mind. Be honest with yourself and with others.

Note that when you first start doing this, that inner strength probably isn’t going to be there right away. You have to work at it. It takes practice, like lifting weights. But stick with it, and you won’t care so much what people think. Women love that in a man.

A man’s relationship with women is a microcosm of his relationship to the world. If you don’t know your place in the world, you probably don’t know your place with women either. And they know it. I’m not saying that to make you paranoid, but there’s a lot of validity to it. Women “just know” when a guy doesn’t have much going for him, that he isn’t moving anywhere in life, or if he’s unfulfilled. It oozes off you like spooge off some big ass titties.

So, what can you do to rectify this? Allow me to be all enigmatic and shit for a second: The real question is – who is it that asks?

Know thyself. What do you value? What are you passionate about? What do you stand for? A man who doesn’t stand for anything will fall over nothing. A girl is evolutionarily designed to test men to see if they know who they are. They will try to push your buttons, even unconsciously. If you do fall, you fall hard. But if you stand, you stand tall, and girls are instantly attracted. They see that this is a man of substance, who doesn’t get cut up over trivialities.

So here’s the action steps for you. Sit down with a pen and a pad and think about what you really care about. What kind of person are you? What would you be willing to fight for? Where are you moving in life, and why? Who inspires you, and why?

When you get to the root of this, you’ll feel a lot more peaceful. You’ll realise that things don’t phase you as much as they did before. No matter what happens, you’ll always know who you are. I see this every time I go out – guys doing what they think is the ‘right move’ instead of talking about something that really interests them. The guy was being false. He thought that by ‘being nice’ and asking questions, he could get Sandra to like him. He was sadly mistaken.

Don’t get it twisted guys – I’m not saying you shouldn’t take an interest in what a girl likes. But why ask her about something that you don’t even care to know? No girl is interested in a guy who is only pretending to be interested in her. Normally, a guy will see the girl in terms of what she can do for him, making him look like a player by having a hot girlfriend, blah blah blah. That’s what women mean when they say they’re being “objectified”, and it doesn’t feel good to be treated as an object.

You guys have probably seen a lot of romantic stuff on TV and in movies – it’s all crap. They’ll make it out like the best way to get a girl is to be really nice, and hope that she chooses you. Maybe that will work – but the odds are against you. Maybe you’ll get one in a hundred – if you’re a good looking guy.

So what can you do about this? The best way is to put your personality on the line. Talk about something that’s interesting to you. Of course, that opens you up to actually being rejected, instead of having your “nice” persona being rejected. So it opens you up to a lot more possible heart-ache. But here’s the kicker: When you put your balls on the line, people respect you more, and they like you more. They’ll listen because they can tell immediately that you’re the kind of guy who has the courage to say what he’s really about. They can hear your soul with every word you speak.

Here are a few things you can do: Get a pen and pad. Write down five things you’re passionate about. When you talk to a girl, talk about those things. Your passion is catching. Excitement is contagious. When people see that you’re passionate about something, they’ll get excited about it too. And girls will get excited about you.
